Yes, this happens often. Where is My Refund is used to track the status of your refund.

This happens frequently. The date given to you by TurboTax is an estimate based on the IRS normal payment times of 3 weeks. Many things can happen to prevent the IRS from meeting that estimated date. Use this link to check the status:

It’s been nearly a year and I still haven’t received my return. After 8 months they finally asked for copies of everything. I submitted month ago. Still nothing??
