Can i add form 8862 if i have submitted my taxes already?

If you have already submitted your taxes, and they have been accepted then you will need to amend your return. Assistance with doing so has been provided by clicking here.

If for some reason your return gets rejected, then you will be able to go back and add this before you submit your return again without having to amend.
