Will the IRS still be processing the refunds through this pandemic? I need my money and its been 6 weeks since it was efiled and accepted. I know our taxes were chosen for further review for a reason i do not know, i never received a letter or anything. But will we be getting our money with everything going on? We need it. I have to amend and i cant do that until i receive my refund.

But like why is it taking so long? I have direct deposit. Ive never had it take longer than 3 weeks.

Thats not what im asking. Im asking if they will continue to process through whats going on in the world right now? Like will the stop for the quarantine thing or not?

As of now the IRS is continuing normal processing. We have no way of knowing whether that will continue. I have not heard any talk of a slow-down, but there are no guarantees. As I'm sure you know, the situation is very volatile and changes from day to day.
