Federal refund send date of 2/24. I paid the extra to have the 5 days advance. Today makes 5 days early but nothing changed on turbo. Will I get refunded for no advance?

on the TT app it’s saying my refund was sent 02/21 but at the bottom it’s saying we couldn’t expedite your refund  so No. 5 day early fee was charged… so does this mean the refund is in my account but I wasn’t granted the 5 day early refund as I requested….

Unfortunately I think we all might be screwed. I've been doing a lot of research on CRB since this happened to me and they have numerous complaints, over numerous platforms of claiming to have sent money that has never even attempted and then the money just disappearing. I really hope that doesn't happen, but if past reviews are any indication, we might be in trouble. Also apparently Intuit, the company that owns TurboTax and this bank have been in bed for at least 4 years so you can't tell me Intuit did not know the history of this institution. I will wait until my DDD to see if I receive anything, but I am not hopeful at this point.

Yes, you are correct.  The 5 day early fee was not charged because the refund could not be deposited within the 5 days early deadline.  This does not mean the refund has already been deposited and you will have to wait until the IRS issues your refund.

So could you please explain what the reason for those deposits being cancelled was? I spoke with two reps on the phone last night and got two completely different stories. My bank said they had no record of a deposit even being attempted. Yet one of the reps said the deposit was rejected by my bank. So what's really going on?

If that's the case, the irs website told me my deposit will be made 2/26, however that is only 4 days away. I know it states with the eitc and the credit for the children, irs won't start handling those til mid Feb and most should recieve by March 3rd. My irs account says deposit expected the 26, and I refuse to be charged 25 for a service you guys couldn't guarantee.  That's a total scam. My stuff was accepted 1/27, but with my eitc and stuff, I get that. However irs is saying my deposit is in 4 days, and there's no point for the service.

I am doing the same next year, they changed the prices up last minute on me too and same with my boyfriend except they told him he wasn't going to get a refund after he was about to finish! He was supposed to get back $71 and turbo tax was going to charge $38 to file and he wasn't getting anything back... um where is the rest?? So he ended up deciding to file with chime and has already gotten his full refund a couple days ago.

@michaelchristina666  no I haven’t. Also my status on TT went from processed to issue date of 2/19 back to the middle and it saying pending now. The irs website says I should receive it by 2/24 no later then March 1. I’ll just keep checking daily.

This same exact thing happened to be same thing says approved issued back to pending and it's says 2/24 to March 1st if I don't receive contact bank I just called my bank nothing still no pending anything honestly I'm pretty upset with this company I've NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM TurboTax what is going on seriously this year
