COVID Stimulus Payment:(Please allow people who used Turbocard to change our Payment method to avoid having our stimulus payments delayed by having to receive it by mailed check

Just saw this update was added to SBPTG's Stimulus FAQ page today.  Link - https://www.sbtpg.com/coronavirus-stimulus-payment-info/

"Answers to Common Questions

I paid for tax preparation using Santa Barbara TPG this tax season. How will I receive my Economic Impact Payment?

The IRS will issue direct deposits to taxpayers that requested a direct deposit disbursement or applied for a new debit card when they prepared their own return online. An IRS-issued check will be mailed to taxpayers that requested a check printed from their tax professional's office, Walmart Direct2Cash or a Walmart MoneyCard issued by their tax professional.

If a payment is returned to the IRS (Ex. bank account is closed), the IRS will mail a check to the taxpayer.

In the rare event that payments are inadvertently sent to TPG, a plan is in place to help identify and expedite the return of these payments to the IRS so that the IRS can reissue payments directly to affected taxpayers as soon as possible. If we are unable to identify the payment as an Economic Impact Payment, the deposit will be processed as a federal refund, with all associated fees withheld from the deposit amount.

We understand that taxpayers need their refund or EIP more than ever, so we are committed to getting money to taxpayers as quickly and easily as possible."    Sooooooo.... 🤷

I too have this question. Many of you are posting emails of Green Dot that references Turbo Tax card and Rush, the turbo tax card I received is through Green Dot but never said Rush Live anywhere on it. Does anyone here have an email where they don’t have RushLive Turbo Tax Card and just the regular one? They appear to be 2 different card types through Green Dot. So far I’ve only seen RushLive customers post confirmations would sure Iike to know if my money is going into la la land. Thank you.

I'm sorry but I had paid for my refund out of my federal and on my tax form is the correct direct Depot info for my turbocard I get my paychecks sent to as well that's the information the IRS has and that's how I received my refund last month. The account numbers are my personal direct deposit information for my card. And no where in my paperwork for IRS does it say anything about Santa Barbara except where I was denied a cash advance. Now my parlychecks come through the same account and routing number there is no reason why this shouldn't . Talked to TurboTax rep she said same thing if the account number match than it's fine . Also it's is ipeoong a portal for you to update your DD info on the 17th it's up but not active on IRS corona vorus page . Just under non filers form you'll see it. So don't freak out dude it will be active and youl be able to fix it

@Snedshed exactly. I know I'm a broken record at this point, but if your account/routing numbers are on your most recent 1040, you're good whether you get an e mail notification or not. 24 hours until you see your funds deposited onto your turbo debit card.

Yes, people recieved e mails with "rush card live" in it which none of us seem to have, but the message was sent to a lot of us TT users from Green Dot via intuit. If some of yall are still skeptical or won't believe anything until you get your own notification...WEDNESDAY is the day. Check your account then.

Nope... Everyone's matches what's on 1040. If you had fees taken out or the refund advance you are getting a paper check and will no option to change DD info on the portal as the us department of Treasury said they can not change anyone's info only add it if you never had DD info on file. Here's the letter from the US department of Treasury
