California 540-ES

I e-filed my US and California taxes, and got refunds on both. And of course printed out a copy for my records. But the generated PDF does not include forms 540-ES (CA) for this year. How can I get these so I can pay my estimated taxes for 2025?

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can follow these instruction to print your forms.  Be sure to select Specific Forms, and then mark the box to the left of Form 540-ES.

If you don't see Form 540-ES vouchers as an option, you'll need to go back into the state interview screens to generate the state estimate forms.  Proceed through the state interview screens until you see the screen titled "A few things before we wrap up your state taxes" or "Other tax situations."

Go to the section titled Other forms.  Select start/revisit to the right of Estimated Taxes for Next Year.

You will need to proceed through this section to generate your estimated state tax payment vouchers for 2025.  You will be prompted to answer a few questions as well as be given an opportunity to enter your expected 2025 income.  The information entered here will be used to generate your payment vouchers for California.
