I e-ffiled 2025.  When I opened Turbotax. I found the amend button at the bottom and again under my name.

Now it says I did not e-file.  When I cllick filing status, it says my return was accepted.  I want to file my amendment electronically.  How to get TB to let me?

I assume it's now saying your return was not e-filed, because you already started your amendment Form 1040X, but didn't finish and file it.

Give this a try, 

1. Log back in to your account, and click the amend button again on your Tax home. Select, "start an online amendment."
2. Next, it should ask,  "Tell us about the amended return you've been working on." Select, "I haven't finished my amended return and want to make changes before I file" and continue.
3. Make any changes that you still need to make to your return, then select done.
4. Next, enter your response for, "Tell us why you're amending your return."
5. You'll have a few more pages and reviews to go before you are asked to file the e-file amendment.
