Accepted status/stimulus

Good evening , so I hear to file taxes ASAP for one to potentially receive the stimulus check. As of 3/30/20 my refund status is as “ACCEPTED” any information what that would mean for me with receiving the stimulus check. Seems I would be eligible, would that info be used aside of however long it will take for my return to be approved, or will it delay the stimulus check?

As long as your tax return has been accepted by the IRS you have filed and your stimulus check will not be delayed. Please view this IRS link for more information about who is eligible and payment eligibility and processing information.
