That’s exactly what I said. This whole holding people’s refund for this ACT is ridiculous. All the money the IRS makes, they should have some kind of software to detect a fraud. This is just a whole mess

So just for my own curiosity I went back and looked at all my previous transcripts since the PATH Act was in place.

To all those that said the date it is deposited will always be the same for you, not so in my case.

First year was on 2/22, second year was 2/15, and third year was 2/19

Always received* mine on the 22nd in my bank.  Its not 100% for everyone. But most likely if it'll stay the same. Things can change but you won't see money before or on the 15th with Path. That's a fact straight from the irs.

@Shottamike23 I file each year as soon as I get my W2's, which is usually the last Friday of January because my employer waits until the very last minute to give us our W2's.

File a joint-married with ACTC

@caron1981 I am aware it won't come before 2/15 and I am not concerned with it coming before then or even that my WMR hasn't updated.

What I am concerned about is when I look at my account transcript for 2019 it shows my wife's maiden name instead of married name (she legally changed to her married name in 2019 and our taxes were filed with her married name) and at the bottom it say No tax return filed.

I am wondering if they use previous year information as a place holder until they get the current year information in there.

Same with me using a new address this year. I have no transcripts under my new address but can see with my old. 

On the IRS  change address page it says new addresses filed with a return will update when return is processed. Since i have not updated yet cant see transcripts with my new address until I do.  Maybe it's the same for your situation. 

Check the irs name change section.

@nick112207 i always file last week of January so i guess that i should get my DDD before 2/27 right cause last year i file 2/2 and i didn’t receive my refund until 2/27 they take 25  days from when i file to give me my money

@Shottamike23 was the 25 days when it actually showed up in your bank, or 25 days for them to issue it?

They have no control over how long it takes your bank to actually give you the money. The bank for whatever reason could choose to hold the deposit for a few days before releasing it to you.

I usually get my refunds on 222 

Not sure if I update daily or weekly as osh hasn't changed yet. Saturday is another big update those of us that get ours on 222 will prolly update if we dont I suspect we wont update until the 15th which happens to be on a saturday as well

I just want to know once my direct deposit gets rejected ow long would it take for me to get my other half of my refund in the mail

I used to work in banking and if you miss a few numbers off the account number but routing is good it still goes to your bank they will get it and attempt to find you by name and acct numbers they have they can also match up your personal info. If they cant find you for whatever reason they will send it back

I just read that those of us with education and child tax credits will not he getting refunds until March!! I pray this is not true.
