Posted as general info ... deposits can happen faster however be prepared to wait a few days due to bank processing times especially over a weekend or bank holiday .... 

Once your return has been accepted (received) by the government, they take over the refund status update duties, since they hold the purse strings. The status in TurboTax will remain as "accepted."

Check the IRS Where's My Refund site for the latest word on your federal tax refund, and your state government's refund lookup service for your state’s status.

Does this IRS "Where's My Refund" tool say your funds have actually been sent? (not just approved for dispersal)

Were you having the refund direct deposited to your bank account directly ?

If the IRS has actually sent the funds, the IRS FAQ page says to allow "up to 5 days" due to variations in bank processing procedures and times.

If so did you enter the correct routing & account number for an ACH transfer ?  Here is how you can see your deposit information:

Your direct deposit information will be at the bottom of your Form 1040.

To view your 1040 after filing, Sign into TurboTax > Taxes > Tax Timeline > Some other things you can do > Download/print (.pdf).

Did you have the TT fees withheld from the federal refund and are getting the refund on the Turbo Tax Debit card?

If so the refund needs to go from the IRS to the third party bank to the card.  This process can take up to 3 business days or more.

How the **bleep** is that possible. I filed and was accepted on 2/3. 

I see people on here that didn't file until 2/15 with DDD's already.

What the hell is really going on?

Are they picking and choosing who they feel should have their money???

SBTG usually updates the day prior to release but they can be flighty. They always have computer crash problems. However they are some of the nicest CSReps and are easy to get on the phone. I mean in the past I don’t know about now. They can also see stuff we can’t see and if you call them Monday they may already see it even if not on their website.

nmburton814- sorry it doesn’t let me do a reply to. So is a offset a back tax owed? I also have been in this boat several times, lol, and yeah I remember in my case it was sometimes a few days or a week off of everyone else’s. But not longer than that. I use to think it would take a long time but then it would just pop up suddenly not too much longer than everyone else’s. Before PATH when everyone would get it that 8 days window after accepting I remember mine would come around 10-14 days after filing. Nit sure if this is what you are talking about though.

I really feel by Monday SBTG will be able to see our refunds even if it is not updated on website.

Anyone have any experience with Santa Barbara Bank taking out fees and having them forward the rest to the turbo/green dot card? 

This is my first time using them and I have heard and read some pretty horrible stories about them delaying posting funds to the greendot/turbocard. 

I'm due on the 26th and don't mind waiting until the next business day but hard lots of folks having to wait past 7 days for greendot/turbo card funds to post.

When did you "call" the irs? It couldn't have been today unless you have magical powers to make those lazy ass people to come to work on the weekend.

They are closed on the weekends. That is the first thing that is said when you call the IRS number 🙄🙄🙄🤔🤔🙄🙄
