I also filed on 2/17/20 but I have a credit union so I have my deposit already. The date should have been 2/25/2020 like yours. I get all my direct deposits early.
I'm happy for you, however.......
I also do EIC every year as well. I NEVER get to file free because of that.
I have always up until last year received me refund extremely fast ... averaged 10 days sometimes faster.
Last year I didn't get my refund until the middle of April. 70 plus days I waited.
I had two letters from IRS that didn't need any action from me.
TT took the processing fee from my checking account prior to my DD.
You are stating that you are getting your refund quicker because you filled "free" and have a Credit Union? It's just not ringing true to me, but.... who am I?
If you say you got your $$ then I'll believe you, but you aren't passing my litmus test.
Having said all of that. Congrats @EvilQueen and good luck to all of you that need your return.
I'm still hoping and praying my refund gets here sooner than last year.
@Cee2020what do you need to see transcript for? does it tell you anything ?
@WMR2020 I too have kids so I am in the eic group but I make less than most but pay a lot in taxes every pay check so it’s free for me but I filed 1/20 accepted 1/27 still nothing just my refund was received and being processed as the others
@debskain EIC doesn't prevent you from filing free on TT, it must be something else. This was my first year getting that credit and my first year filing free. Previously self employed.
I never said it was because I filed free. I posted screenshots of my DD and my TurboTax info that shows when my return was accepted. People file way too early and get worked up about waiting. Another member posted that she also filed on 2/17/2020 and has a DDD of 2/25/20.

@kevinnetzernot even sure what im looking for on the transcript or which one to look at ?
My return was accepted on 2.16.20....still being processed.
I filed free directly through turbo tax but that's because our return is extremely easy.
Just a regular old 1040 is free
My WMR never updated.
I never said EIC prevented you from filing free.
What I said was that I have ALWAYS filed EIC but have NEVER file "FREE".
My income has always been way below 25 grand. I'm just having a hard time believing the FREE plus credit Union thing. But what evs. I don't actually care.
Last year I filled late Jan. and didn't get my refund until the middle of April. I did not get "free" filing. So kudos to those who do get "free". Sorry for your extreme poverty.
So.... to recap. Only those who file three days in advance, have a credit Union and file free get their refund in a timely manner!?!!
OK good luck.
Hell if that is your worth.... you are WEALTHY in my estimation.
And no way is your filling free on TT.
NO.WAY.
@EvilQueen Dang at least you have bars lol I have nothing just like my refund lol but you taught me something not to file early and to wait 🤪 next year
@debskain I'm not sure what poverty and free has to do with her claim?
My wife and I make a combined 75k a year and I filed free.
Also the credit union thing is believable. Before I switched from a credit union to a local small bank my paycheck was always deposited/available a day before those who used banks
