I have filed my return, it has been processed but I didn’t receive my return. I contacted the IRS they told me to file a 1040x due to things needing to be corrected. How do I know what my return amount will be?

I want to amend my NY state tax return for 2023 but not the Federal return. How can I do that in TurboTax? It seems like I can only do both, not one or the other.
