Possible Corrected W-2 issue - already filed with corrected W-2

My fed refund has been pending due to further investigation into my income. I am reviewing my taxes again and a few things. 1. My previous employer sent me a corrected W-2 but it didn't state corrected on it. It was different than the first since they forgot to include my State (NJ) sick pay and disability. I entered in the corrected W-2 prior to filing and selected it as a corrected W-2. Now I'm wondering if the government is expecting me to incorrectly enter two W-2's for that employer since it didn't state corrected. 2. I noticed I forgot to check the box for third party sick pay in box 13. 3. The amount listed on the top of my turbo tax for my federal refund and in my 1040 differs from the amount on the summary page that says what I should get deposited into my check account. I don't know where this second amount came from but this second amount is what the irs is seeing as my refund even though it is anywhere in the rest of my taxes. Thanks.

You shouldn't do anything until IRS processes your return and you know what adjustments, if any, IRS made.

Note; you only get one shot to e-File 1040-X.

after that if you made a mistake you'll have to amend a second time but on paper. That's messy.

Don't file an incorrect Form 1040-X.

When I spoke to the IRS they told me to review for anything incorrectly entered and to do an amendment if anything was incorrect. I contacted my old employee re: the new W-2 to see why it doesn't say corrected. The second issue was on me but the third issue doesn't make any sense and seems to be an error somewhere within the turbo tax software. I wouldn't file an amendment if I didn't have updated,.correct info but thanks for the tip
