pending status for 4 days

I submitted my return 4 days a go and it is still pending. Anyone else having the same problem? In years past it has never been over an hour be accepted

A status of "pending" for 4 days means the return is transmitted but not yet processed. No action is required until it is accepted or rejected. 

It's a sign that it's a high-volume filing period backlog, or a routine security check, typically lasting 24–72 hours.
