pending for 7 days

returns have been pending for 7 days. Initial e file was rejected and turbo tax says state needed update. Did that and refiled. Can turbtaxreview this situation?

Going on ten days in pending. I believe I corrected the first rejection immediately ten days ago but missed an EID number by one digit. That means it still had an error. I assume I’m waiting for the IRS to reject a second time so that I can refile the completely corrected return. I’m not certain if the hold up is the IRS or in TurboTax. I was told there was an investigation going on for this concern with other cases.

If your original fix also had an error then yes you would just be waiting for it to potentially be rejected again. Turbo Tax does is not privy to how long that will take; we do however have the general guideline that was provided above.

Now that I’m at 14 days pending I’m getting concerned. TurboTax rep sees the original rejection and I’m wondering is there a technical issue where I could be stuck in TurboTax server as pending and the IRS hasn’t even received it to consider yet. Recall on 2/10/23 I filed, TurboTax stopped me to say update state. Did that and re filed. One hour later Eid number issue caused irs rejection. I corrected but can’t refile due to pending. Is there a Tech team?

I’m now in pending for 20 days and have been told that the issue is in TurboTax and that my case is being worked on. While I got a rejected after I filed I never got the Fix My Return page offered to me. It just said pending and even after my correction I cannot re file due to this stuck pending status.

how can I know if the IRS even has my return?
