I did a friend's return, and E-filed his federal. Since I'm using the desktop version for Mac, I need to pay to e-file the Oregon state return. I tried several times over several days, but I was unable to get to the payment screen. I finally gave up and printed his taxes and gave them to him to mail.
I'm now in the same situation with my taxes. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Tech Support. The first support person kept trying to get me to generate a code so that she could see my TurboTax. She needed a 6 digit code, and it kept returning 5 digit codes. After an hour, the call got cut off. The second agent said she could take the payment from her end, but after I gave her my credit card information, she said she was unable to make a payment.
Has anyone had this problem? Have you had any better luck with tech support? I'm going to try again one more time, and if that doesn't work, I'll go find other software.

You may have a connectivity issue with the Billing server, where you enter your payment info for Efiling a state return. I have seen posts from both Windows and MAC users, where disabling anti-virus software usually resolves the issue. Here's How to Turn Off Anti-Virus Programs.
