I was doing taxes my son and he his the same initials as his father. How do I delete one without deleting the other one?

when I saved both return it wiped out one and now I have two return for one person

Open one (of the returns in the program) and then in the far left click on File and rename or save as and call one Son 2018 Taxes - or Dad 2018 Taxes, this will help you.

What you name the file has no impact on what IRS gets or the return.
