Once submitted, you will need to wait until the IRS either accepts or rejects your tax return to add your 1099 form.

If accepted, you will need to amend your return to add this information:  How to amend (change or correct) a return you already filed.  If rejected, you can revisit your return to add the 1099 form by following the steps listed in this Help Article:  Where do I enter a 1099-MISC?
