After filing taxes with Turbo Tax, for the first time, my state return was accepted but my federal did not because I did not have the correct AGI. I fixed my taxes with the correct AGI (adjusted gross amount) and added another W2 from my part time.

states are slow, some wait for federal notification of acceptance. since efiling didn't officially start until today, wait a day or 2
