Does it seem that everyone that has filed with Turbo Tax in 2019, has gotten a 5071c from the IRS? Is anyone else having that problem? If so, what has been your outcome?

@angelacole91 mine either I’m a single parent with 2 daughters it’s cut and dry. My neighbor she’s 55 and less to claim on her taxes but yet she’s in review to. We are in the same time frame which looks like the end of May.

when i did my taxes i claimed my 2 daughters because even though me and there father have been together 26 years were not married so i couldnt claim head of household when i tried to verify online it wouldnt let me i called it was around the 23 of february they asked what was the amount of my student loan car loan or mortgage i told them im not a student i dont a house or car then they said was i calling about 2017 taxes i said 2018 i didnt work in 2017 if it is this much hassle i dont to file taxes next year then they asked for my boyfriends info his dob and ssn even though i didnt claim him

I filed on 2/7/2019 verified my identity online 3/9/19 . I checked my tax transcript today and the last code is a 570 code with a date of 4/15/19 $0.00 and my cycle is 20191305. I am assuming the 570 is for the identity verification. My 9 weeks will be on 5/11. I really need this money this has been a horrible experience never had this happened before. I am so nervous did I do something wrong on my taxes or is this something random they do to people. Please any advice?

@mzwatkins0224 Here is the way I see it.. if you did make a mistake they will fix it but it seems like this has happened to A LOT of people

i cant even get my tax transcript it tells me my ssn is wrong yet its not wrong when i check for my refund or on my tax return

There are plenty in the same and similar situation as you.  I’ve lost so much sleep and peace of mind, I refuse to let it cause that anymore.

Of course our minds automatically assume bad things, it’s human nature.  

I filed 2/1, ID verified 2/26, now 45 day review, and still chilling here soooooo you’re not alone.

its just crazy i did my taxes at jackson hewitt on february 3 verified february 23 rd the lady said are you calling about 2017 taxrs i told i had just startwd a job in 2018 not 2017 then when i did my taxes even though me and my boyfriend have lived together for over 23 years i couldnt claim him or head of household because were not married but when i called to verify my id they asked for his information and kept saying my husband i told my boyfriend and i didnt claim him on my taxes so why did they need his info i claimed our daughters this waiting is what bothers me because the 9weeks should be the end of april but then they said give until may 23rd to long that is crazy and that they will either give a refund or send another letter its like if the amount is wrong amend it and send my refund

april 15th is when every one should have their taxes filed by but we will still be waiting for our money is the irs protesting something and just dont  want to give us our money
