Need help on correcting a amended return that was submitted.

completed a amended return for the unemployment deduction.  I want to correct the amended return and delete this deduction.

What tax year are you amending ?

There is no way to change the amended return that you have already submitted. You have to wait until the first amended return has been processed, which will probably take 5 to 6 months. Depending on what the IRS does with the first amended return, you can then decide whether you need to file another amended return.
