Hi,
I have filed my 2019 tax return with Turbo Tax for Home and Business using the Mac Version (not the online version).
I just received a 1099 form for income that I have already reported on Schedule C.
As the income was already reported - just not as 1099 income, do I still need to file an amended return?
If I do need to file an amended return, how do I do so on the Mac Version of the Software? I have found the Amended Tax Return form - however, there is no Easy Step with it. Do I fill out the form itself? The 1099 income doesn't change my numbers - it just was unreported.
Appreciate any guidance. Thanks, Tony

No, you do not need to amend your tax return. You have already included the income on your return so no additional tax is due or refund change.

Hi Diane,
That's great news. Thank you very much.
Best Regards,
Tony
I drove for Uber and Lyft and did not report those earnings
@alvord500:
If you didn't report your rideshare income on your original return, you'll need to amend your return to include this income (and, of course, claim any expenses that arose from your services). Please see the TurboTax Help article "How to amend (change or correct) a return you already filed" for instruction on how to amend your previously-filed tax return.

I bought software for a Mac computer
Do you have a question regarding the Mac software or do you need to exchange it for a Windows version? @user ID 05251938
