My taxes were amended last year. IRS received them in May but I haven’t anything about it being process. I filed my taxes for this year. Will they be delayed?

The difference this year is I added my son from a previous marriage. He has been living with me since November of 2020 other than that ever thing else is the same. It’s just this amended return that was done last year in May but the IRS has not sent me anything yet. I go to check it on the site where is my amended return and there is no information. I just don’t want any delays for the taxes this year because I do need them
