My taxes went from they had been received and being processed to the refund amount I had entered to it was approved and on it’s way what does that mean ?

If the IRS site is saying your refund is approved then that site is also going to give you a date when the refund is being issued. You need to allow 1-5 days from that date to actually see the refund in your account. Watch your own bank account now for the deposit.
