You son can amend HIS return to change the way he answered the question in MY INFO that asked if he could be claimed as someone else's dependent. Before he does that, however, make sure you all understand the criteria for whether he could be claimed. You say he "made too much money" but do not mention his age or whether he was a full-time student in 2023.
