My return has been rejected because my bf claimed me. He IS filing an amendment (3/25) to correct this. should I mail my paper form now or wait until amendment is filed?

I did not receive any stimulus for 2020. Filing & claiming myself (I have earned income, I do have a job) I can claim both stimulus payments on my return.

Do not wait for your BF to amend.   His amended return will never "catch up" in the system this year.   The Form 1040X he needs will not be available until the end of March, and then it will take the IRS 4-6 months to process his amended return.   Print sign and mail your own 2020 return.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
