Pending will show up as an e-file status as one of the first stages. It just means it has not been accepted or rejected yet. Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information:

Where’s my refund? I completed my tax return with turbotax in Feb 2026. Recently I contacted IRS website, they said that they dont have any info on my tax return.
