When turbo tax directly deposit your taxes into your account, is it usually two deposits or one?

The returns are sent to and processed by totally separate taxing authorities so the refund checks never come together.

Federal and State tax refunds are totally separate.  Sent by separate tax authorities, the IRS for federal refund and your State Department of Revenue/Taxation for the state refund.
