My 2020 taxes were accepted but are still being processed by the IRS. I updated my bank account information within my return. Will my 3rd stimulus check be sent to my new bank account?

If your return is processed and that information shows up for stimulus processing then yes.  However,  if processing is not complete, there is a possibility that the banking information has not been updated and the payment will go to the last payment on record.

We have not received any direction from the IRS on how they will process those payments.  You may want to contact the IRS about that.

It depends if your 2020 income tax return is processed before the third stimulus payment is sent out.

• You don’t need to do anything to get your stimulus check. The IRS will determine eligibility based on your last tax return (either 2019 or 2020) and will likely send your payment to the bank account where your tax refund was deposited.
