My 1099-INT form says $17 but the turbotax system says $0 and won't let me change it. Should I just go with zero? I can't ask for a corrected form b/c it's correct.

Form 1099-INT is required to be reported on your return. If you entered the $17 as interest, but haven't entered any other income, then you may be seeing $0 on the "refund meter" at the top of your screen, because you haven't entered enough income yet to exceed your standard deduction.

Go back to the Interest section under Investments and Savings in Wages & Income. You should see the item you entered there. Click the Edit button to make changes if necessary.

Nope. It won't let me change it. The amount is what TurboTax help said was reported by the bank and that the amount cannot be changed. The way to correct it is to contact the bank to get a corrected report, but the report is correct. I gave up on TurboTax and started over in H&R Block, where their "free free free free free free free" filing is actually free (we tried filing on TurboTax for our daughter who only made $900 at one job and zero interest last year, and TurboTax didn't give us a free option. So much for "free free free free free free free.")

Try deleting the imported information entirely and typing in the interest income yourself so that the correct value is reported.  Or continue your return filed elsewhere if you prefer.
