Missing $4,000!!!

After waiting 46 days from when my taxes where accepted, Where’s My Refund is now telling me my refund will now go down $4,000 due to an incorrect social and/or name!?!? I always triple check every single thing before submitting and I know there was nothing wrong. How the heck is this happening!?!? After doing some digging around and hearing other people are having the same issue, the common thing between us is the fact that it is people with TurboTax!!! I have entrusted TurboTax for many years and so he my entire family. I really hope they will help get this figured out ASAP. I also strongly feel those fees they charge us who have dealt with this should be refunded. If anyone else has gone through this and has been helped to get their entire refund back, please help!!

That is usually the list of generic reasons they give if they changed the Recovery rebate credit on line 30.  How much is on 1040 line 30?

Did you not get the 3rd Stimulus payment?  Or qualify for more?  Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.

I’m missing almost 3000, no explanation. I received one stimulus payment on my 2020 tax return and nothing else. I really hope they figure things out for you!!
