My WMR status bar disappeared after being received. Why is this happening? Should I be expecting a review or audit?

Not mine. No letter received and every time I call the irs number it gives me a message about their system being backed up with calls so I can’t talk to anyone. So tired of this.

I received a letter that said I need to wait. I called and they said they are doing a Quality Reveiw. So not sure what is going on she said I just have to wait. It is ridiculous already I'm over it. I have never had this problem  before. Still no status and no status bar and no date. It's BS.

All my letter said was I have to wait longer no if verification or nothing. I already have an Id pin for verification so I don't know

@Cheeseburger killer at this point I do too. Just received a letter to verify my I’d. Are you kidding me? They waited this long to send a letter. How long will it take after I verify my I’d to get my return? I’m never using TurboTax again. This is the first year I’ve ever had problems with my return and it’s the first time I used TurboTax. I just want my money so that I can cover my daughters dental surgery. I can’t wait for this to be done and over with.

Tire of this bull crap. They told me that they didn't recieved my w2s from my jobs. Im like what are they talking about. So I said well can I fax or go to my local irs office to give them my w2s and the agent was like,"no its okay. We will send out a request to your jobs to verify your income". So I'm like come on bruh.

Yeah and now because of this turbo tax is charging me because it took too long for my refund. Two thumbs down for TurboTax. Will definitely be doing my taxes elsewhere next year

This happened to me , my bar disappears on 4/19 and 4/20 I contacted the irs but she wouldn’t give me any information because it had not been 21 days but when I explained to her my bar disappeared and she told me that a lot of times the system updates which could be the reason why the bar disappeared , so I said forget I’m going to stop worrying, so I checked again this morning and thank God it was there!!!! With a date to expect my deposit. I hope this help you guys. Because I was mad worried

@nyshea6 I just checked mine today and my bars are gone, got the standard issue “still being processed” message.  No amount, or anything else beside tax topic 152.  What day was your return accepted?

Verified my identity a few days ago and mine still hasn’t changed. I know it can take up to 9 weeks but this is getting ridiculous. Just wish it’d speed up.

Has anyone who received Topic 152 on their status/no bars actually received a refund yet? Topic 152 is inaccurate or incomplete return.

Yea I’ve been under the tax topic 152 seem like for the longest. I had to do a  identification verification, u have to call and they will lie to u & tell u that they sent it in the mail but they don’t until u call, u can do it over the phone or they give u a appointment date to go into the office. I flied 2/15 I went in to do the id thing 4/25 & he told me I was all good & that my refund could take 9 weeks. So on the website it still say the same message with the same tax topic 152

So my best advice is to order your transcripts...the code which mines was 05052018...which is today mind you...my bar has shown back up, i have a date that my refund will be here as of today...that code means something!!!
