Maryland 2024 Amended tax question

I failed to enter that I was a part-time resident in the state of MD. As a result my refund was withheld and I was sent a tax bill, although I was sure that I was due a refund. I quickly filed an amendment and after 4 months , many phone calls and a few emails I got a response letter from the comptroller’s office. This letter  goes through all the breakdown of my submission and says “approved as filed” on every row. However, it fails to mention any refund due or tax liability.
In closing it says says “

You have the right to file an appeal if you are assessed tax, or a fee, or if your refund is denied. You must file an appeal in writing. You can file your appeal in one of the following ways, within thirty (30) days of the date of this letter. The request for appeal can be made:”

I agree with their review as it aligns with my amendment, so I have no intention to appeal but I need to know if I am owed or I owe the state. It made mention of this.

Is this standard? Should I expect another letter telling me how much I am owed or I owe or a check? I am not sure what to make of this.
