Making correction to unfiled 2020 1040 SR

I was told on Feb 6 by MaryM428 that I did not need to amend my 2020 Federal Return since it had not yet been filed. Mary instructed me to follow the directions in a link and I would be able to get my return back and make the changes before it is filed. The link said I would receive an email today when return was available. This has not yet happened.

If you "submitted it" then it is gone and cannot be changed.

If you did not submit it then just edit what is needing change.
