Mailing an Amended Return

I just completed a 2022 amended return and Turbotax says the 2022 E-file window is closed so I will have to mail it, which is fine.  When I print out the forms to mail, Turbotax prints a 1040-X like expected but also includes a corrected 1040.  NOT the original 1040 that I filed over a year ago, but a 1040 with the numbers corrected.  This 1040 shows a different refund amount than the 1040-X because it doesn't factor in the money I paid to cover the underpayment with my original filing a year ago.  The 1040-X shows the correct amount.  The Turbotax file by mail instructions sheet that printed with it says to mail the 1040-X as well as any forms or schedules that changed.  My question is, do I just mail the 1040-X or do I include the corrected 1040 also?

This question was asked in this forum in years past but the person answering misunderstood and thought the person was asking about the original 1040, so the reply didn't really answer the question.  Thanks for any help!

You will mail the 1040X and include the corrected 1040.
