OK, so I use TurboTax years ago my first ever year of filing taxes anyways so I switched to H&R Block and I have H&R Block ever since self-employment legit help me make sure I’m getting everything I need that I couldn’t see what I was getting how much I was going to get my refund I had like a process and then they would show me the refund and I actually looked it up on Reddit and read that they used to show you what you were getting as you did your taxes And I know a lot of people are like well. You should know what you’re doing what you have to put in but here’s the thing I’m self-employed. I have receipts everything and also when I work with the live tax expert with H&R Block, they help to make sure I get all of the benefits that other people know how to get you know I’m not a tax expert so with TurboTax not wanting to show you what you’re getting or help you or I don’t know what what the scam is or whatever but I switched because I wanted to I spoke to representative who told me I would apply for the refund advance and I would know if I was going to get the advance before I filed my taxes so I was like awesome good because I specifically told her I didn’t wanna push through any taxes if I wasn’t going to get the refund event so I wanna make sure that you know I know and she’s like yeah it will let you know at the end at the end it does let me know tell me I’m approved for $2000 And I still have not received my advance. So I filed on February 18 I was accepted by the IRS and my state. I’m in federal and state return on November 18 when I initially spoke to the representative and online it says most people receive the refund advance within 15 minutes accepted by the IRS unfortunately that is obviously not the case I did go onto Reddit and forum and realized that last year I guess they went with a different bank and everyone did get their money a few minutes after they were approved or was accepted, but I saw that a lot of people are having the same issue as me this year and are actually going to be leaving TurboTax and I very much wish I would have research that but prior to because I would have stuck with H&R Block I could have also made an appointment. H&R Block went up there and applied for an advance with them. It’s not as simple as , she made the sound with TurboTax, but I very much wish I would’ve stuck with H&R Block. I have never had any issues with them. I love them and I am pretty sure I could’ve received the advance, but the woman that I spoke with made it sound like I was going to if I got approved. It was going to be in my account like snips snap Online it sounded like that when I was there and I did get approved signed all the paperwork $2000. You’re gonna get the remaining on this date and blah blah blah yeah it’s a big-time advertisement I feel and I am very letdown that I allowed them to scam me from my Company because I was sure that if I was approved, I would file and get my advance ASAP so yeah next time you guys need to be very upfront people and let them know that they will not be getting their advance immediately.
