Last year I had to do an injured spouse form after filing. Do I have to do one this year too to make sure my return isn't taken?

If your account has a debt indicator still on it then you should file the form with the return every year until the debt is paid in full.

If you still have a problem and need to protect your portion of the refund then you need to file injured spouse again.
