It told me expected arrival date was on 2/14 but it's website still hasn't approved it yet I don't think and I'm just trying to to keep my bills paid

I just don't understand why I can't get a for sure answer so I need to know if I need to start pawning my belongings before it comes in cause I'm already going to the food bank just to eat n I was expecting this money to carry me thru until work speeded up again

The IRS says they send refunds in 21 days for 9 out of 10 efiled returns. The date is an estimate, an educated guess, a rough idea. In other words, it should not be relied on. The IRS can not say how long that other 1 of the 10 will take. All you can do now is, wait. Wait for the pay off of your interest free loan to the government. Do you believe that the IRS is omnipotent, omnibenevolent and omniscient ?
