Where are you seeing the word "pending?" Do you mean you do not know yet if the IRS accepted or rejected the return?
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?
I checked me E-mails and it appears they sent them to the IRS for filing, but I haven't got a second E-mail showing that they were accepted by the IRS or processed there yet. My latest E-mail just says "It’ll take the IRS 24 - 48 hours to process."
However, it's been beyond 48 hours.
My federal taxes on Turbotax say "pending". So I assume the IRS has received it, but just hasn't accepted/filed/processed it?
Just keep waiting. There was a federal holiday this week. Watch your emails.
