I can't find my 2017 state tax file and TurboTax won't go any further with my Federal Amendment without it.

It is in the same TT file as your 2017 Federal return. Just keep scrolling down, past some worksheets.

But TurboxTax doesn't recognize it so I can amend my 2017 taxes.  It keeps trying to find my state tax file, even though I've pointed it to my federal .tax file, and it won't proceed with the amendment.  I'm talking about the *.tax file, not the pdf.
