Is there an issue with TurboTax? I have redone my taxes three times and keep getting a different amount either I owe or will get a return.

Also-first it wanted me to use standard deduction and the second wanted me to itemize.

If you are looking at the Federal Meter at the top left side of your screen, this is an estimate only and will continually change as you add or edit data in TurboTax.  

To make sure you are claiming the most advantageous deductions for you, follow these steps in TurboTax:

1. While in your Tax Home,
2. Select Wages & Income,
3. Select Review/Edit,
4. Select Deductions & Credits from the top tabs,
5. Scroll to the bottom and select Wrap up Tax Breaks,
6. You will Based on what you just told us, itemizing (or standard) deductions is best for you, if you need to change this , select Change my deduction.
