Is being able to order my refund transcript by mail the same as being able to order return transcript online?

The information contained within the transcript is the same.  The only difference is the delivery method as the online transcript allows you to immediately view on the screen.  But, you will need to be able to create an account and verify your identity with the IRS in order to use that feature.
