IRS Stimulus Checker Rejecting Previously Correct Info

"We are unable to provide you with the status of your payment or perform the action requested because:

  • The tax return information you entered does not match our records; or
  • You have already accessed the system the maximum number of times today.

Please come back after 24 hours and try again."

I get this when using the same autofill information that got me in the first time. Already received my federal refund weeks ago, but have not received my third stimulus check.

What the **bleep** is going on, and why is there no support system in place for this tool?

Beyond frustrated being locked out of checking every 24 hours because of their mistakes.

The same info in the same format was accepted up until 2 weeks ago when I started being denied access.

My address didn't change, and certainly my SSN and DOB did not.

How can I even log in, and what number can I contact to speak to a real person?

Find out when your third Economic Impact Payment is scheduled to be sent, or when and how we sent it with the Get My Payment application. Get My Payment updates once a day, usually overnight.

Do not call the IRS as our phone assistors don’t have information beyond what is available on IRS.gov. See Third Economic Impact Payment.

I don't think you read the post at all. My correct information is being denied, and after three "attempts" I am not able to try and login for another 24 hours. Not a helpful answer
