After triple checking all numbers and options in Turbotax, I attempted to eFile and received an IRS rejection. I had verified my 2020 AGI per my Turbotax filing and all other account information. Also, I established an IRS account via ID.me's process. With an IRS account, I retrieved my 2020 Tax Transcript and verified my 2020 AGI was correctly entered and validated amount on the IRS computer readout. I resubmitted my 2021 Federal Tax via eFiling, and again, was rejected. What else should I be looking for? Tubotax only points me to my 2020 AGI being incorrect. Appreciate your help. Ron

this is a common problem with TurboTax --- the AGI mismatch error.
relatively speaking.
There are dozens of complaints like yours every year.
If your return was delayed in processing, IRS says:
enter AGI = 0 to e-File your 2021 tax return.
If the IRS will not take the AGI from the originally filed 2020 return ( not one that was changed by the IRS or amended by you) AND it will not take a zero for the AGI then you can either mail in the return OR use a local paid tax pro to file the return.
Thank you for your prompt replies and comments for correction. To follow my steps, I did check my 2020 Federal Tax to again validate my AGI, and then eFiled again. And, again was rejected. I entered $0.00 for my AGI, and eFiled, and again was rejected. Just wanted to make sure on the AGI, so I created an IRS account via ID.me to obtain a transcript. What a lovely process that was, but I did complete it. The AGI held by the IRS matched my last year's filing and what I was attempting to enter for this year's filing. Given the Community comments, I have mailed my Federal return.
Can I provide any information from my filing process or forms used to aide with TurboTax resolving the eFile problem? Thank you again for your assistance.
