Irs giving me diffrent infi

I filed on Turbo tax on 1..26 and got email)that IRS ACCEPTED it)on 1.28

 I called irs directly today they said they didn't receive it untiil 2.11 and randomly sent me a)form)in mail)on 2.18 which I)didn't receive yet to VERIFY)MY IDENTITY?? I file every year a joint return and never miss a year they said it wiill take

 About a week to get to me then i must

 Call to verify

 And from that point takes 9)more weeks to process. I never heardof such a thing!! I HAVE a simple return and NOT gettting a)fortune back. Can ANYONE help me with any adviceof what i can do? I am at a total loss now
