Can a tax returned filed through IRS Free File Turbo Tax be amended through Free File?

No ... you will use the usual TT amendment process.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a 2019 tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/how-do-i-amend-a-2019-return-in-turbotax/01/123845...
Those instructions won't work for Free File returns.
Here's another way.
You must have a copy of the original tax return you want to update.
The simplest way is to prepare your correct tax return (using Free File for example, or other means) and print it.
Then lay the paper printouts of both returns (correct and original) side-by-side.
You now have all the information needed to prepare Form1040X by hand.
It's pretty straight-forward.
The blank form in fillable PDF format and its instructions are available at www.irs.gov.
Mail to the same address you would mail your original tax return.
I have a couple of fake returns using the FREE FILE TT program and all I have to do is sign in like normal and scroll down and click on amend to download the program and the .taxfile ... so it does work if you used the TT option in the FREE FILE options.
