Inconsistent refund amount - Tubotax says $599, IRS says $470, but only had $364 deposited into account. Any guesses why?

The “summary” given to you by TurboTax must have confused you. That summary just nets out the difference between a refund you are getting and an amount you owe. Or it adds two refunds or tax “due” amounts together.

The federal and state treasuries are completely separate from each other. The refunds arrive separately.

And....did you choose to pay your TurboTax fees by having them deducted from your federal refund? If so, you have some math to do.
