Im getting my refund direct deposited into my bank account about when should i expect it

Did you efile and has your Federal return been accepted?

If you efiled and chose direct deposit, the IRS says that 9 out of 10 filers expecting a refund should receive it within 21 days.

However, for most filers, the IRS will not even start processing returns until January 29, unless pulled early for testing purposes.

And in early filing season each year, there is another factor that could delay the refund a bit:

If you have EIC (earned income credit, aka EITC) or ACTC (additional child tax credit), the IRS will start processing them on Jan. 29, but will not start releasing those refunds until February 15.  That means people with those types of credits may not start receiving their refunds until around February 27.

If your efiled Federal return has been accepted, you can check the refund status occasionally with this tool at the IRS website:
