If you are not sharing the refund, you should not share the  tax return by filing "Joint". Try redoing your return in Turbotax as separate individuals, to yield separate refunds. If the two refunds don't equal the total refund on your Joint return, calculate the percentages. Add the two individual refunds. Divide the total by your refund. If the result is 50%, apply that math to the joint refund; 50%.  If your individual return yields a refund that  is 65% of the sum of the two, then you should get 65% of the joint refund.
