Ask your bank how long it takes for them to receive and process an ACH transaction received from the IRS. It can depend on the bank--some are quick and some not as quick. The IRS says to allow up to 5 days due to variations in different bank processing times, procedures, etc.
Also did you have any fees to be paid out of your refund? If so, then in that circumstance the funds go first from the IRS to an intermediary bank that takes out the fees, then forwards the rest to you in a second direct deposit. If that's your situation, it is that intermediary bank that the IRS "sees" as "your bank" when sending the deposit. If you did use that method to pay fees, we can tell you how to check on it online with the intermediary company (SBTPG aka Santa Barbara Tax Products Group) that handles that process.
it depends on how long your bank plays with your money until it clears the deposit.
